Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi !

Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi!

I had totally forgotten that this post was remaining in drafts since the past one week. I have never cursed myself this bad ever for a goof up.

I had to take so many precautions, finish my assignments, meet the targets, clear the files, inspect the cure cycles, monitor the temperature graphs, adjust the shift plannings and what not, just to make sure that I would not receive any phone call during those 4 days. And finally when I got rid of all them I could come to home to have the time of my life with Mom and Dad.

Lily Sarovar, Nasik was the venue. I had called in all our family friends for that small get-together. Agreed it was not a surprise party but it still meant a lot to Mom n Dad. Having found all of them together pouring wishes and greetings was so blissful. We raised a toast. No, not with wine or anything but Manchao Soup and Spring rolls and a delicious dinner midst the cool evening breeze.

Mom n Dad were sharing the tales of their incredible journey of love and togetherness and so was everyone else. Those inadvertent blushes, light giggles, unrestrained laughter and twinkling tears of joys were the ornaments of the evening. My eyes were fixated on them, and I wanted the time to stop. I had never ever seen them so relaxed, so happy, so contented. They were  having the best time of their lives. It was such a wonderful-wonderful feeling and I could never realize when my eyes started glistening with tears.

I know there's probably nothing special about this post, just felt like sharing this little piece of joy with everyone around, that I experienced on 13th March, 2014 - The Silver Jubilee of my parents. Almost a year ago I expressed my wish to them that I would make their 25th Anniversary a memorable one! And on this 13th, when I could make that a reality my joys and pride now know no bounds!

Cheers!
