It was 12th Jan, 2014, I was in Vidhan Bhavan, Mumbai to attend the Parx Supercars Show but I was pissed off. On the front and the biggest counter the Lords had arrived but the crowd was not ready to move away. I made my way to the other end to some not so popular cars [according to me]. I clicked a few photos as I swore against those media personnel who could go near the cars and yet clicked pics with their crappy mobiles.
[Lord = Lamborghini]
I had enough of it. I moved out and pushed myself through the crowd of nerds with DSLRs and hot Mumbai girls. None of them made any sense to me. Finally as I reached the barricade with my Adam's apple right on the sharp tip of the barricade threatening to kill my life, I saw Lord Aventador, standing there in his royal aggressive stance. My heart was racing for my dream was right in front of me. I quickly clicked a snap and was basking in its glory just when my eyes fell on Lord Gallardo - The Superleggera, The Chrome, The Trofeo and The Twin Turbo.
I rushed to the other side of the parking lot to try to feel them even closely. I tried my level best to lay my hands on them but I failed. I had to argue with so many people not wanting to let go off their positions on the barricades but I eventually succeeded in getting a nice position very close to the Lords. However my hands still couldn't reach them so I had to content myself by clicking snaps.

After 11 when the rally started, I joined the crowd standing right besides the path meant for the cars. Each car would come to us, halt for a few seconds revving the engines and then going away. I was looking for the Lord. And there it was the Gallardo Twin Turbo, revving and approaching us. It would be better to say if I say that it was roaring like a raging unleashed beast. Its single rev was enough to suppress the noise of the crowd and even to permanently damage the ear drums. The atmosphere was heated as the Lord showed its prowess.
After the rally we caught the glimpses of a few cars speeding past us. Of course it is needless to mention that we heard the Orange Twin Turbo Gallardo coming towards us from almost a mile away and within a blink of an eye it was gone. We rushed to the venue to get the one more glimpse of the cars. I decided to wait at the gate as I knew any moment the cars would set off as the show would get closed. This time the crowd was wilder and the security guards and bouncers were doing the best to keep them away from the cars.
I didn't give up because of him. In fact when it was the time for the Superleggera, The Trofeo and the Aventador I again jumped in the middle not bothering if the car would run over my feet I kissed them all. I am still on a high since that day and I'm running short of words to describe my happiness and contentment. That was the most thrilling, exciting, adrenaline filled and intense moment of my life. I KISSED MY DREAMS!
CHEERS!
